Hromada (meaning “community” in Ukrainian) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in San Francisco, California. All donations are tax-deductible.
Our mission is to promote educational, cultural, and charitable activities within the Ukrainian diaspora.
The organization publishes a monthly newspaper, Hromada, with its first issue released in December 2017. The newspaper covers a range of topics, including politics, culture, education, and charity—relevant to our culture, heritage, and history.
Hromada is actively raising funds to support areas in Ukraine most affected by the war.
The Anhelyk Foundation (meaning “angel” in Ukrainian) is a project of Hromada. Anhelyk raises funds for children whose parents sacrificed their lives in the russian-Ukrainian war.
