Ukrainian Studies Fund

The Ukrainian Studies Fund (USF), established in 1958 by the Ukrainian diaspora in the United States, is an educational charitable organization dedicated to promoting Ukrainian studies and culture. Its primary achievement was funding the Ukrainian studies program at Harvard University, which included establishing three professorships in Ukrainian history, literature, and philology, as well as founding the Harvard Ukrainian Research Institute (HURI). The USF continues to support scholars and projects in North America, Europe, and Ukraine, aiming to enhance global understanding of Ukraine and its heritage.
