In 2022, UNESCO inscribed the ‘Culture of Ukrainian borscht cooking’ on the List of Intangible Cultural Heritage. The Szendiuch / O'Malley clan have made their delicious borscht an essential part of many of the Northern Dutchess fundraising events over the last four years, and now, in the midst of this Winter of Cold, Darkness, and Resilience in Ukraine they are calling all Friends of Ukraine to join together in fellowship over borscht, dark bread, and desserts in support of the people of Ukraine with all proceeds from this event going to Razom for Ukraine and their Winter Relief Campaign.
