California’s first amateur Ukrainian theater, “Wandering Stars,” is looking for a PR person.
Arts & EntertainmentThe Wandering Stars Theater is looking for a PR specialist who can oversee the theater’s media coverage, announce and promote performances, help drive ticket sales, manage complimentary ticket distribution, develop the theater’s online page, organize email newsletters for potential audiences, and more.
The theater operates on a charitable basis: all positions are volunteer, and the money raised from performances goes toward helping Ukraine.
What do we offer? The opportunity to work with a creative artistic team, help promote Ukrainian culture in the U.S., support Ukrainian charitable organizations, and develop your professional skills while gaining experience.
We especially encourage college students and high school students to apply: if you need documentation for an internship or volunteer hours, the nonprofit organization Hromada can provide the appropriate paperwork.
The work schedule is flexible. The theater is based in San Francisco and also travels to other cities with its performances. If you are located in San Francisco or the Bay Area, that’s a plus, but it is also possible to work remotely from any city or state.
If you are interested, please contact the theater’s director, Olena Bilyak.
