💙 Healing Hands & Raising Voices for Ukraine 💛
We are honored to co-host this free community event with Global Care Force, an international nonprofit that mobilizes volunteer doctors, nurses, and medical professionals to serve communities in crisis worldwide. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, they’ve deployed teams to Ukraine, bringing hope and healing where it is needed most.
This gathering will combine meaningful conversation with urgent action. Alongside the panel, we will host a Silent Auction Fundraiser with unique items — including travel experiences to France, Italy, and more, as well as stunning original paintings donated by community artist Victor Khmil. Winners will be announced at the event, and bidding is now open at ukrainiansofcolorado.betterworld.org
.
💛 All proceeds will directly support humanitarian aid in Ukraine, helping us:
Provide warm clothing for children this winter
Supply gear to keep soldiers safe on the frontlines
Deliver food and essentials to frontline villages
Equip hospitals with desperately needed medical supplies
Support orphanages with food and clothing
This panel is a rare opportunity to hear directly from those on the frontlines of healthcare in times of war.
👨⚕️ Dr. Lev Prystupiuk, a Ukrainian medical doctor, will share firsthand insight into the challenges facing hospitals and patients.
👨⚕️ Dr. Gary Morsch, founder of Global Care Force, will speak about mobilizing volunteers to deliver life-saving care in war zones and disaster areas.
🎙️ The discussion will be guided by Jeremy Hubbard, FOX31 Denver anchor and award-winning journalist, who has built his career telling global stories with compassion and clarity.
Together, we will reflect on the current state and impacts of the war in Ukraine, hear stories from those delivering aid, and open the floor to community Q&A.
🌍 Hosted by Ukrainians of Colorado & Ukrainian Heritage School Kobzar, in partnership with Global Care Force.
