Vopli Vidopliassova – Malanka Tour Comes to Detroit

After a sold-out show at Carpe Diem in 2025, Vopli Vidopliassova returns to Detroit this January for a special Malanka Night celebrating the Ukrainian New Year. The legendary pioneers of Ukrainian rock, VV are known for their explosive mix of punk, folk, and global grooves. As part of their 40th Anniversary celebration, they electrified audiences across North America in 2025 — and now they’re back with a new winter concert series that blends tradition with rebellious energy. This festive Malanka edition will feature VV’s full live show, a joyful seasonal atmosphere, and a special Malanka menu available at the venue (not included in ticket price). During their 2025 North American tour, VV raised over 50000 dollars for Misto Dobra and other Ukrainian charities. The band is continuing that mission on the 2026 tour with the goal of doubling the impact through on-site auctions, donations, and community efforts.
