Vadym Krasnooky, frontman of the legendary Ukrainian band Mad Heads, is coming to Sacramento with a powerful solo concert. The setlist will include Mad Heads’ most iconic hits, original songs, and fresh rock interpretations of traditional Ukrainian folk music.It’s going to be a night filled with music, energy, and support for Ukraine.
Vadym Krasnooky is a singer, guitarist, songwriter, radio host, and the founding member of Mad Heads, formed in 1991. The band has performed over 1,000 shows across Ukraine, Europe, the U.S., and Canada. They’ve released more than 100 songs — including national favorites like “Nadiya Ye” and “A Ya na Mori” — and are known for their energetic rock versions of Ukrainian folk songs that light up any stage.
Since the full-scale invasion began, Vadym has performed a series of benefit concerts throughout Ukraine, using his music to support, uplift, and unite people in difficult times.
In this solo format, his music becomes more intimate and direct — a heartfelt dialogue with the audience, with songs that carry even more meaning today.
The evening will also include a Meet & Greet with the artist and a charity auction to support those who protect and defend Ukraine.
