Annual Hike & Panahyda Honoring Father Agapius

Join a meaningful community hike and memorial gathering honoring Father Agapius Honcharenko. The day includes a group hike, a Panahyda memorial prayer service at his resting place, and a repast BBQ afterward. Families and friends are warmly welcome, and potluck items are encouraged. The event will be joined by Father Georgiy of St. Michael Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Father Roman of Immaculate Conception Ukrainian Catholic Church, UNLWA, the Ukrainian American Coordinating Council, the Ukrainian Heritage Club, and St. Michael’s Ukrainian School of San Francisco. Meet at the end of Carden Lane next to Stonebrae Elementary School, then return to J.A. Lewis Park for lunch. Come share a day of remembrance, fellowship, and community.
