Internet Technician / Internet & TV Installer in the USA

Major internet provider Optimum is looking for technicians to join its team and install internet and TV services for customers.

No previous experience is required — training is provided, making this opportunity suitable both for experienced technicians and for those looking to start a new career in the technical field.

New Jersey — statewide

Connecticut — statewide

Earnings

$1,300–$2,500 per week

Your earnings depend on the number of jobs completed. The more installations you complete, the greater your potential weekly income.

Main Responsibilities

Depending on the position, technicians will perform work related to the installation and servicing of internet and TV services, including:

installing and connecting customer equipment;

setting up internet and TV services;

running and connecting cables;

performing installation and technical work;

working with fiber-optic and cable connections;

testing connections and service quality;

troubleshooting and resolving connection issues.

Equipment Provided

The company provides the necessary professional equipment for the job, including:

ladders;

fiber-optic splicing equipment;

cable installation and preparation tools;

additional professional equipment.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license;

Your own vehicle or access to a leased vehicle;

Intermediate-level English;

SSN or ITIN;

LLC / Corporation — assistance with opening one is available if needed.

Previous experience is not required — training is provided.

Employment Format

Full-Time | 1099

Full-time work with customer appointments and service calls within your assigned area.
