World Vyshyvanka Day 2026 Celebration in Boston

Join Ukrainians and friends of Ukraine for a special celebration of the 20th anniversary of World Vyshyvanka Day. The program begins with festive decorating of the famous ducklings, community gathering, and photos, followed by a traditional group photo in vyshyvankas and a flashmob honoring this global tradition. Organizers invite at least 200 participants to help form the number 20 as a human chain while holding Ukrainian and American flags. After the flashmob, guests will continue the celebration by singing beloved Ukrainian songs together with acoustic guitar accompaniment. Those who would like to perform a few well-known Ukrainian a cappella songs are encouraged to message Alona Popova by May 17 for inclusion in the program.
