D.C. Celebrates Ukraine's Independence Day 2026

Join a powerful three-part Ukraine Independence Day celebration featuring a rally, the unfolding of a giant Ukrainian flag, a solidarity march, and a concert of Ukrainian music, poetry, and dance. The event welcomes Ukrainians, friends of Ukraine, and the wider community to honor Ukraine’s freedom, heritage, and resilience. The program begins with assembly, followed by an official rally with speakers and music, then a march around the Reflecting Pool, and concludes with an evening concert. Guests are encouraged to wear vyshyvankas or Ukrainian T-shirts and bring Ukrainian flags along with yellow and blue balloons.
