International Bandura Competition Applications Open

Applications are now open for an international bandura competition presented by BandurArts and the Young Performers Foundation. Bandura performers ages 10–25, including soloists and small ensembles of 2–6 performers, are invited to apply and compete in age and skill-based divisions. The competition includes an online preliminary video round, a live or online second round, and gala performance opportunities for finalists and winners. Grand Prize winner(s) will be invited to perform at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall, and all semi-finalists will be invited to the Bandura Gala. Participants receive professional evaluation, certificates of recognition, online promotion, and eligibility for special distinctions including cash prizes.
