Ukrainian Baroque Music Night in Carmichael

Join Sunflower Society for an inspiring evening dedicated to Ukrainian Baroque music and the traditional kobza. The program features a concert by Tetiana Loboda, musician, singer, and director of the Studio of the National Merited Bandurist Capella of Ukraine, along with a charity raffle and an informal kobza workshop with conversation and group singing. Guests will also explore the history of the instrument, Ukrainian poetry, and the current state of art and culture in Ukraine. Drinks and appetizers will be served during intermission. This special fundraiser supports the development and promotion of authentic Ukrainian musical instruments, the Studio of the National Merited Bandurist Chorus of Ukraine, and critical equipment needs for the military unit where Tetiana Loboda’s son serves. A meaningful cultural event with music, history, and a strong charitable mission.
