Ukrainian Language Ambassadors Club Art Meeting

Join the next meeting of the Ukrainian Language Ambassadors Club for an inspiring afternoon focused on art, creativity, and self-expression. Artist Larysa Martyniuk will share her journey in acrylic, watercolor, and mixed media, and talk about how nature, memory, and visual impressions become paintings. Olya Paris will introduce the basics of Petrykivka painting, the renowned Ukrainian folk art recognized by UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage. Participants will learn about its history, signature tools, blended brushstroke technique, and traditional color palette. Under guided instruction, each guest will create a handmade Petrykivka card to take home. Expect meaningful conversation, warm community, and a chance to support Ukrainian frontline defenders through your participation.
